Job Description

The main purpose of the “Java Developer” position is responsible for developing computer software and in-house systems, writing the web services and APIs used by mobile application developers, using Java programming languages and related tools and frameworks.

Location: Head Office, Phnom Penh

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web-services using Restful services.
• Design and develop reusable libraries and APIs.
• Build and run microservices and maintain them.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Document API specification.
• Involve in system architecture design and the regular code review process.
• Involve with mobile developers for integration with API.
• Perform other task as assigned by supervisor or management.

Skills Specifications

• Fresh graduate or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT and Engineering or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and ORM frameworks.
• Experience of microservices, REST API design and implementation is an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of CI/CD and SCM.
• Knowledge of Relational Databases like Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle.
• Autonomous and proactive, quick learner, and effective communication.
• Decent English communication.
