Job Description

The main purpose of the “Deputy Head of Deposit Department” position is responsible to support and assist Head of Department to lead and manage the portfolio of Deposit for all customers segmentation with the expansion on corporate business through the acquisition of new and existing HTB customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Head of Department to set up sound marketing and deposit strategy to attract more customers/business.
  • Pro-active promotes the deposit products & services of the HATTHA to both the existing and potential customers.
  • Assist Head of Department to manage deposit sales across all distribution channels.
  • Support Head of Department to review products performance and formulate sales strategy to support.
  • Seek cooperate and on-board products/services providers in various private sectors to promote payment via digital channel of HATTHA bank accounts and offer varieties as well as more convenience in digital platform.
  • Propose new initiatives and strategy to drive deposits mobilization, work closely with Marketing and Product Development to launch deposit marketing campaign & promotions and process improvement etc...
  • Support Head of Deposit Department to gathers market & customer information to analyze and report the success/effectiveness of targeted advertising campaigns, special events/promotions.
  • Advises on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
  • Prepare and supervise the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets.
  • Promote videos, photographs, films and multimedia programs.
  • Perform other task as assigned by Head of Department and related top management.

Skills Specifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or equivalent degree is preferable.
  • At least 3 years of working experiences both management level and financial products.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products and strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in dealing with customers with good relationship; especially have relationship with businessmen.
  • Demonstrate high level of ethical commitments and trustworthiness.
  • Good English communication skills both speaking and listening.
  • Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure, highly self-motivated, and long-hours.
  • Strong sense of urgency with high level of commitment and determination in delivering a great result.
  • Outstanding communication skills for negotiation & reconciliation.
