Job Description

The main purpose of the “Officer, Mobile Banking Support” position is responsible for performing operational support duties of Mobile Banking Unit in Channel Banking Department. The basic function of this position is to perform Mobile application status monitoring; assists in the installation process; and investigates Mobile application related customer disputes or fraudulent issues in accordance with policy and regulation. Performs a variety of routine daily tasks; prepares and reviews reports, prepares correspondence tasks and participates in related projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deploys implements and maintains Mobile Application services.
  • Ongoing monitoring Mobile services both operations and risk identification to minimize down-time and to identify suspicious subscriber /transactions.
  • Ensures maximum “up-time” of Mobile application, security systems through efficient management of monitoring, support and maintenance.
  • Oversees timely and effective resolution of issues on a 24/7 basis.
  • Tracks issues and makes recommendations to address them.
  • Manages timely and effective support to branch staff on operational issues, auditing and security maintenance.
  • Oversees the daily administration of the Mobile Application function and the timely research and resolution of transaction issues within established performance goals.
  • Ensures that proper security procedures are followed to minimize risk and loss.
  • Find out any negative activities in operating Mobile service as well as non-compliance of policies, forms’ completion, or any other further mistakes in branches/merchant.
  • Assist control in all aspects of local mobile operations by providing support to assigned branch Mobile personnel.
  • Assist in implementation and ongoing training. Coordinate personnel transitions that may be needed to support the system and/or process.
  • Perform Mobile systems audits and perform others tasks assigned by direct supervisor.

Skills Specifications

  • Minimum Bachelor in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Experience in a systems administration and support environment.
  • Experience in problem solving skills.
  • Understanding of various system architectures including hardware and software.
  • Computer literacy in particular database, Switch systems, Mobile System and networking.
